Privacy Policy — Swipe Tidy

Summary — Swipe Tidy sorts the photos and videos on your phone on your phone. Your photos, videos and their contents are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. There is no sign-up or login. What leaves the phone is usage statistics, the information ads need, and — only if you buy Premium — your purchase records.
1. About this policy
This policy explains what information the Swipe Tidy team ("we") processes when providing the mobile app Swipe Tidy (com.swipetidy.photos, "the app"), why, for how long, and your rights.
2. Your photo library
- The app asks for access to your photos and videos so you can review them one by one. You can allow full access, allow only selected items, or decline and try the app with sample photos.
- Reading, thumbnails, duplicate and similar-photo detection all run on your phone. Photos, videos, their contents and their location data are never sent to us.
- Nothing is deleted until you empty your discard box and confirm the system dialog. On Android items go to the system trash, and on iOS to "Recently Deleted", where they can be restored for about 30 days.
- When you share a cleanup result card, it is created on your phone and sent only to the app you pick.
3. What we do not collect
- Real name, email, phone number or contacts — there is no sign-up or login.
- Your photos, videos or their contents, camera, microphone or precise (GPS) location.
4. What stays on your phone
- Your sorting progress (which items you kept, discarded or favourited), the discard box, today's deletion count, and settings such as theme, text size and language.
- This is never sent to our server and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

All transfers use encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Ads and consent
The free version shows Google AdMob ads (a banner, full-screen ads at some transitions, and optional rewarded ads that add more deletions for the day). Users in the EU, UK and other applicable regions are asked for consent through Google UMP, and usage statistics follow that choice; you can change it at any time under "Privacy choices" in Settings. You can reset or delete your advertising ID or limit personalised ads in your phone's settings. Premium removes ads.
6. How long we keep it
- On your phone: until you uninstall the app.
- Purchase records: until the service ends, so purchases can be restored (transaction records required by law are kept for the legal period).
- Feedback: up to 3 years, then deleted.
- Information processed by Google: according to each service's retention policy (Firebase Analytics events up to 14 months).
7. Sharing, processors and international transfers
We do not sell your information. The information in section 5 is entrusted to the listed services only for the listed purposes and is not given to anyone else. These services may operate outside your country (for example in the United States).
- Google LLC — Firebase Analytics, AdMob and UMP, Google Play billing
- Apple Inc. — App Store purchases (iOS)
- RevenueCat, Inc. — purchase management
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14 (or the age set by your local law) and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Your rights
Uninstalling the app deletes everything stored on your phone. You can withdraw photo access at any time in your phone's settings. To see or delete purchase records or feedback held on our side, email us below and we will act without delay.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with its effective date.
